June 20, 2009 (Sat) - Youth Day, the main event for
Celebrate Our Youth. The day will begin with a "WALK FOR YOUTH" at 7:00am – Great Mall, Milpitas, CA (Inside the mall – Sears/Food Ct. entrance) This is coordinated by the Milpitas Executive Lions Club, EastWest Communications and YTSW Team. Come and join us there!!!
10:00am – Downtown Milpitas – Calaveras Blvd. & Milpitas Blvd. City Hall & old Library. Coordinated by the 5 Star Alliance, AFIC and YTSW Team. Everyone is welcome to join!
Around 11am, you may join us for a Community Open Forum and Discussion on “What can be done to help empower, protect and preserve the vitality and future of our youth?” with community health advocate and author, LEAH ORFRECIO FACUN, as the facilitator. Younger children will have a drawing and essay contest, and other fun activities in another room. Any gifts or food contribution will be greatly appreciated!
